headteacher’s welcome

Welcome to St Elizabeth Catholic Primary School.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to our school community.

At St Elizabeth, we are inspired by our Catholic faith to create a school where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish. We believe that each child is unique, with their own gifts and talents, and we are committed to helping every pupil grow academically, socially, spiritually and emotionally.

We believe that children thrive when they feel happy, secure and valued, and when they are encouraged to aim high. Our ambition is for every child to leave St Elizabeth with a love of learning, confidence in their own abilities and the character to make a positive contribution to the world around them.

For generations, St Elizabeth has served the families of Tower Hamlets, and we are privileged to be part of such a vibrant and diverse community. We welcome families from all backgrounds and faith traditions, recognising that the experiences and perspectives within our community enrich school life. Rooted in our Catholic tradition, we are committed to ensuring that every child and family feels a genuine sense of belonging.

We have high aspirations for every pupil and believe that all children can succeed. Through an ambitious curriculum, dedicated staff and a wealth of opportunities beyond the classroom, we encourage children to be curious, resilient and confident as they prepare for the future.

Strong relationships are at the heart of our school. Guided by our values of Resilience, Respect, Responsibility and Relationships, we work in close partnership with families and our parish to ensure every child is supported to achieve their full potential.

Whether you are already part of our school family or considering St Elizabeth for your child, I hope our website gives you a sense of the warm, welcoming and ambitious community that we are. I look forward to welcoming you to St Elizabeth Catholic Primary School.
